• All our individual customers having a deposit account can use AKBANK Internet Banking.
• If you do not have an account now, you can open one at your nearest AKBANK branch.

• You may visit your nearest branch, fill in an Internet Banking application form. Our customer representative will give one-time Internet Password so that you can Log In.
• You need to access the Internet and click www.akbank.com/en English web site.
• On your first log in, you must enter your Last Name and one time Internet Password. If you access our Internet Banking successfully, you will be asked to set a new Username and Internet Password for the next accesses. Please call (0 212) 329 34 34 Customer Support Line , if you experience any problem.
• When using Akbank Internet Banking for money transfer, you will be able to complete the transaction after entering SMS OTP (SMS One Time Password).

• If you enter your Internet Password incorrectly for 3 times, your Username will automatically be cancelled. In that case, you can visit any AKBANK branch, to obtain new Username and Internet Password.
• For security reasons, you will be asked to change your username once every 3 months. You may also change your Internet Password any time by "Change Internet Password" function.
• If you do not use AKBANK Internet Banking Service for 12 months, your username will automatically be cancelled.
• If you do not use any of the services for 5 minutes while you are logged in, the system will automatically display a small window asking if you wish to continue. Your current Internet Banking window will be logged off after 30 seconds, if you do not press "Continue" button.
• You should open an investment and Repo account from an AKBANK branch in order to make Investment and Repo transactions.
• You should have a related foreign currency deposit account in order to make your transactions of that foreign currency.
• You can buy/sell USD, EURO, GBP, CHF, YEN, SKK, DKK, AUD, CAN.
• You have to transfer the amount from your Deposit Account to your Investment Account to buy Mutual Funds.
• If you sell the Mutual Funds, you have to transfer the amount from your Investment Account to your Deposit Account so that you can use that amount for other transactions.
• It is recommended to use the Exit button, while logging off from the system.

The security of data flowing between AKBANK On Line Banking and the user, is provided by SSL (Secure Socket Layer). SSL is like a tunnel, starting from AKBANK and ending at the user. The data that flows in the tunnel as encrypted format, can only be viewed by the user and AKBANK. No other party can view or change any data during the transfer from one end to the other. There are three different types of SSL, ranging from 40-bit, 56-bit and 128-bit. The SSL 128-bit, which is the latest version of the previous 40-bit and 56-bit, is recommended for our users’ browsers. 128-bit SSL is used for AKBANK on-line Banking, which makes almost impossible for an intruder to read the data in such a high security environment. As well as our security provision, our users should also provide their own security and take some own precautions such as:

• Please do not access Chat programs while using Internet Banking.
• Please have a long password, so that no one can guess it easily.
• Do not use easy numbers or characters: ie. your birthday, username or your name. Try to make different combinations.
• Please change your password frequently.
• Do not write your password somewhere and do not say it to anyone else.
• Please do not leave your PC before exiting from AKBANK Internet Banking.
